i've gotten into college.  it's pretty nice getting acceptance letters.  some of them come in really nice folders. 

anyway, the ones i Really want to get into don't come for a few more days.  Only a few more days.  sheesh. 

and, a bigger problem is that i need to get my grades up to make sure the schools dont recant.  blast!

if anyone has any books they would like to recommend, please leave a note.  i'm compiling a list of books i will read.

charlie trotter's--hoorah!

it was really great.  if you ever get the chance to go, Go.  And, charlie trotter came out and talked to us.  he was about an inch away from me.  it was pretty cool.

oh, and one of the chefs had a french accent.  oh, and the restaurant was surprisingly unpretentious.  if i ever get the chance to try the tasting menu for free again, i will definitely do so.

we had alumni night at school tonight and i got to see all these great people from last year.  and even seeing other people from 2 or 3 yrs ago was really cool.  it was like that was the school again.  these people are so interesting and great, you wouldnt believe.
